Hamburger Hypersonic January 11, 2012 Share January 11, 2012 by reducing resistence and increasing CCA on the battery, whats the real benefit if it????? electrical gurus please enlighten..... ↡ Advertisement
Escksu Clutched January 12, 2012 Share January 12, 2012 Are you talking about those Voltage stabiliser devices? Well, if you want, DIY yourself. Don't bother about spend $$$ on expensive ones. Its works but aftermarket ones are a waste of money. Capacitors are long used for stabilising voltage in all types of electronics. Its good for audio, sensors etc..... But many companies take advantage of this and created their own voltage stabilisers that do not work in real life and sell it at ridiculous prices. Hamburger Hypersonic January 12, 2012 Author Share January 12, 2012 errr, not diy. Just curious why are capacitors of all kinds appearing all sort of patterns. Need to understand the logic of currents running in car electrical system.
Moredhel 2nd Gear January 12, 2012 Share January 12, 2012 errr, not diy. Just curious why are capacitors of all kinds appearing all sort of patterns. Need to understand the logic of currents running in car electrical system. Depends on if you are using as a power bank or using as a noise filter. Power bank, large capacity in volume will do the trick. Noise/EMI filter needs more finesse and knowledge of the electrical system of the particular car. Simply capacitors alone might not do the trick. If it's installed 'beoz my accessories godlike friend who recommended me VS can increase XX% BHP n torque said so'.....then enjoy the snake oil
