Nobody?

tried 0W30 Amsoil SSO before.. i will better than RL's 0W30..

but when using 5W30 Amsoil vs RL's 5W30.. i find RL fare better..

all based on butt feel..

not very common to be using 10W40 i guess..

Supercharged

I used both, on w30.

I can say both are good. Redline gives more raw power. Amsoil is more smooth and power is more gradual and quieter.

So depends on what u want lor.... Quiet or noisy engine?

Hello friends,

Generally AMSOIL Synthetic 10W-40 Premium Protection Motor Oil is a multi-use, premium synthetic lubricant for applications that require or benefit from a higher viscosity oil. t is recommended for air and liquid cooled, large or small gasoline and diesel engines.

Redline 10W40 are designed to provide the highest protection, cleanliness and superior drain intervals with the lowest friction for your petrol, diesel, motorcycle or marine engine.

Thanks a lot

most importantly, i am not a merchant...but a believed supporter for this new engine oil in the market.

into 2nd EO change last week...using this engine oil called Basso, consist of detergent & addictive elements to remove all the deposits built up.

here is latest review after changing to 2nd round of Basso engine oil to my Avante 09.

before using basso, my avante fc is always less than 11km per L (70% city drive).

after using basso for the first time, my fc maintain at 11.5km per L CONSTANTLY sinced first tank petrol. driving style in fact more harder/greedy coz its very smooth..quiet too. but it still maintain the fc at 11.15+/- km per L.

i just change 2nd round of basso engine oil 5w40 last week.. my first tank hit 12.06km per L. and driving 2nd tank petrol now. hope it will maintain for the next 10000km...

worth buying for this product. 20+ dollars more than redline n can see positive result. i earn back the extra spending after first few tanks.. n enjoy rest of my mileage...

PM me if you wish to buy it. I intro you the supplier.

I think I'll do that. But for my engine (v8 ls1), driving habits (hard), OCI ( 4-8k), and mileage (110k) what do you recommend? Keeping in mind that the car is a daily driver but would like to race it every other weekend. Redline, Amsoil, M1, etc.

I use Amsoil SSO 0W30, its slightly more expensive than Redline but its silky smooth throughout; 10K OCI.

Go to BITOG for more detailed information, lots of information on these two oils.
