I feel sad that the two victims felt this way about our police and law.

Anyway....I have confidence in the police. The have solved alot of cases.....the CrimeWatch anniversary was celebrating their success over the past 20++ years.

This is nothing new with how the gahment works. HDB has started to encourage seller to diy selling their house. The SPF also wants victims/complainant to DIY their own investigation. It's a start.

Is always something happened and brought to the public then someone on top will say they will look into how to imrpove on this on that... When nothing happens, those top people will sit there YO Lxx Pxx. That is always the case.

From my personal observation, that is very true. The only way the common Singaporean can raise above the line for everyone else is if publicity is attracted to such a degree that mishandling will cause embarrassment for the authorities.

TP also. So many escort 1 presumably very important vehicle. Imagine how much more can be accomplished if they were deployed out onto the streets. In effect, taxpayers pay for the special treatment that very important visitors enjoy, sometimes at the expense of the taxpayer who is stopped from proceeding to let the VIP pass! Talk about slap in the face.

Quote from publichouse.sg:

Dahlberg was granted permission to leave Singapore for London and Hong Kong from 11 to 29 July last year. His bail was set at S$25,000. Dahlberg absconded while he was away on the trips.

Springall had applied to leave Singapore for the United States in August last year. The courts granted his request and his bail was doubled from S$6,000. He left Singapore from 25 August to 5 September last year. He returned to Singapore on 5 September and was supposed to surrender his passport to the authorities, but he failed to do so.

In December, he flew out of Singapore again and absconded.

WTF is this!!
