actually looking more like Lexus , only thing this one the grille is like honey comb and lexus is straight horizontal lines

What you saw in Japan is likely to be Japanese habit.  Sticking to Toyota rather than changing to Lexus.

 

Before Lexus enter Jap market, Toyota Celsior (aka Lexus Lao Sai) is the top of the range.

For me I would rather buy crown than lexus. I drove a crown royal saloon before & can see from this car, the Japanese always keep the gd stuffs to themselves.
