nothing is free. For the amounting of walking you need to walk to hunt down the pick up point, must well walk straight home.

The whole incident was very messy right from the start, announcements were made that free shuttle buses were available next to the canteen at the interchange. Huh? Where's that? Went down with droves of people and in the end nothing but confusion for majority of us as there were no ushers or signs. Gave up after a couple of minutes and walked home. Pheeew! What a workout!

Whether it is track intrusion or whatever, if the train service is disrupted and people cannot take the train, it is consider 'breakdown'!? And I find that since there are so many times of train service disrupted, how come the free shuttle bus service still so messy, confused and disorganised? The so called crowded controller at the free shuttle bus service did not direct the effected commuters to the boarding bay, and also did not indicate any signboard that the bus go to where?

breakdown => disruption

disruption =// breakdown

when a train in service breaks down, it disrupts the flow and frequency.

when there is a disruption, the disruption could be due to many other factors, e.g. weather, intrusion, foreign objects on tracks, etc besides train or train's ancilliary faults.

They want us to give up first leh...

Aiyo... They only know how to talk...

Why didn't we see any of the ministers take public transport ?

How to set a good example?

How to lead the ppl when they don't set example?

Lol, not possible to see ministers take public transport, whether or not our MRT really world class or not?! Same theory like, how many of our big bosses in our company take public transport, most or all of them also drive to work lo.

Singaporeans that complain about being packed like sardines every morning should be grateful that our MRT system is maintained at high standards.

Delays and frequent break downs are safety measures, designed into our MRT to avoid overstressing the trains.

Sincerely

Future MRT CEO (hopefully)

Their pay is world class but not the MRT. We Singaporeans were not satisfy with the frequent breakdown and overcrowdness of the system.

CLEARED liao ... move on ... lapses are "NORMAL" ...

The transport operator gave the all-clear at 8.24am when it tweeted: "CLEARED: Train services between Pasir Panjang and HarbourFront are now running normally. Free bus services have ceased."
