I have one question:-

 

SAF is using a kind of armoured+tracked tank-lookalike veh but the gun is small calibre ie maybe about 75mm, isn't such a "large" veh with small arm a waste of money while it's killing power is small yet as a target is too big for enemy to miss?

That is mainly food and supply carrier.

So small arms is sufficient. Not designed for engaging in fire fight mah.

Is not then all soldiers should also be carrying heavy duty machine gun instead of a small M16.

I have a different question. Read that Iran has a few Kilo class subs. Will these cause trouble to the American fleet in the event of war or are Kilos overrated?
