now will Mr Baey tell us to reflect on ourselve again?

Have to reflect why we are called stupid cu*ts. Maybe it was because Singaporeans accepted his apology though it was insincere. [laugh]

Fail. Having lost in a fight that has nothing to do with race, nationality, 18 generations ancestors and whatever fxxk, this mofo is trying to stir sh;t. IMO he should be deported back to China and let the local Chinese bully him, see got difference or not lot. As if back in his home nobody will look down on him like that. He's the real fool from what I see.

For those who can read the entire article, you will realise that THE TEMASEK TIMES is only telling part of the story, using the NUS student as a chance to instigate hatred.

Here's the source from their perceptive over staring incident.

The author started out clarifying:

"现在还是有一点激动,气不过,所以可能比较乱看着。。。。。。"

http://bbs.sgchinese.net/thread-5293368-1-1.html

Be aware of THE TEMASEK TIMES quoting the words out of context.

In fact, TT's editor even took the trouble to highlight just those word while failing to provide the translation in whole.

Yes, I am aware how ignorant and gullible some MCFers can be..just by simply depending on single (biased) source like TT and they start this point-less thread. [knife]

If you folks wanna know how the ORIGINAL thread goes and response, go to

http://bbs.sgchinese.net/thread-5293368-1-1.html

To some of you, it can be very eye-opening how they debate on this staring-incident.

Here's one contributor who even try to explain why some Singaporeans are so anti-PRC while others are not.

I renumber the points in the post above to prevent misunderstanding..

It's clear there are 2 categories stated in there..

1 & 2 are the common people who do not see any benefits(or do not benefit) from the mass import of PRC workers/students.

4 are mostly business owners/senior management people who benefits from the cheaper foreign labour from PRC, and thus they earn more money.

3 are those who have high chance in the future to join no 4

What you are saying is class divert here, not nationality issue.

In fact, another mentioned "素质不好的人到处都有,和国籍无关吧" -

- rough translation "low-quality characters are everywhere, regardless of nationality.." [rolleyes]

You might be right in that since it somehow correlate with author...but it doesn't hurt to share your thought with him/her .

But that's going OT here.

The point is some people can easily get worked up to a frenzy based on hear-say and miss-representation that they forget to hear both sides of the same coin.

In the age of multi-linguistic, internetl-savvy Singaporean, that's really sad.
