Hmmmm....thought GE & party did everything themselves in the service for the nation.

So they got "a little" help from an external party huh? At a cost of almost a million [rolleyes]

Just how much input they provided for the committee the world wonders...

In any case kudos to Pritam if not this type of "insignicant" news which the govt does not obviously want to "worry" us will never be revealed.

Money well spent or too much?

860k can feed a lot of people you know. Wonder how much work was done to deserve this kind of payment?

If you look at how much was slashed off the ministers salaries in total, I say this money is well spent.

From CNA:

The committee had selected Mercer after assessing bid proposals submitted by three companies.

How come never say the below?

How come only 3 companies bid for this?

And who is the other 2 companies who bid?

Is this a open tender?

Lowest bidder wins the bid however delivery the best service/product is not known.

Only time will tell.

No matter what you do, must always have an Ang Moh consultant endorse it ....

In my previous employment, global HQ wanted to unify all the IT systems in all the countries.

My answer was "No. Cannot be done."

Anyway cut long story short, the company hired an army of consultants from Big Consulting Brand.

After 2 years and US$12 million later.... their answer was ....

"No. Cannot be done." (Same answer) [laugh] [laugh]

Same as the recent drainage review committee consisting of a lot of big names from overseas.

That group of distinguished experts must have cost tax payers millions of dollars & what these fine professionals came out with were problems & solutions which IIRC even bros from MCF had already suggested in the first place.

So much so for experts' view [rolleyes] [rolleyes]
