Volvo s40 GPS

I have been looking for an intergrated way to get a gps system into my s40.

 

Finally someone showed up with a solution!

to spend close to S$2k for a GPS is really siao.

 

a portable branded gps which so called the best in the market cost less than S$500 and can be use for any car.

And you only use it when you are lost on the road.

 

i hate to see so many gadget on the windscreen

Embedded in dash board. Cool.

 

Have not installed before, but remember when I was looking for it several years back... The original would set back about $8k. So I will say good deal.

MCF777 I KNOW RIGHT. 2k plus camera... But i am still thinking whether to do it anot? plus it comes with Bluetooth and reverse cam. I am kayu new driver, so think if should install it?

 

i have a garmin (which i intend to sell if i buy this) but i don like the cable and the puttin on and off the windscreen. Abit mafan and the cable is very messy.

 

@fourth. Did you use to have an s40? any other places you can recommand that maybe have something similar. I agree the volvo one will cost 8k but the volvo made gps is kinda crappp

Used to drive the S60. I am not sure what other options there are, as I later dropped the idea of fixing one. You may to throw your question to volvosg club or vocsg. The bros there will be more knowledgeable.

No. The forums are very alive and there are very friendly people there. Very useful for you to be in there. Or you can see the people during the meet ups. Volvo sales doing quite well and there are many new owners too. Believe many of them are in this mcf too.

hahah alright! posted there! have been meaning to drop by their Meet up, shall put my mind to it and do it! hahaha maybe cause i've been looking in the s40 section. abit Pa Bang ( hit flies), not much s40 drivers.

 

may i ask, why the change from s40 to jaguar isit?

Ya go for the meet up. You will surely more S40 than you think. However you may not get many feedback on yr gps enquiry as not many would choose to pay for embedded gps. Origin quite ex and OEM not riven can be a risk.

 

As to why i chose my car.... Different topic la. Don't ot on your thread.

Nice, but I think it would be better if u can integrate an IPAD or Galaxy Tablet to your dashboard together with your audio/GPS/bluetooth.
