Call me weird... but I take mine with grape jam. Same with their bfast hashbrowns. Most of the counter staff gave me the 'blur' look. Even at any fast food joints, I would ask for jam. Tried it once, tried it almost everytime.

i dont like garlic chilli but thats the only type of chilli sauce they provide.

First time I hear people eat fries with jam...

 

Lol.. It all started during my active days in NS.. My platoon always came in late, really late.. Near to almost 7 plus am.. Usually the cookhouse offers western bfast for 3 alternate days in our camp. Standard breakie is usually 1 hashbrown, 2 sausages and 2 slices of bread plus jam, peanut butter, butter or kaya. So what we're left with is usually hashbrowns, jam and butter. So one of my buddy decided to try hashbrowns with marmalade jam. He seem to like it though so I monkey see monkey do lah.. Tried it.. Not bad.. Soon the rest also follow.. Till now whenever I order hashbrowns or fries confirm must have jam.. So bro, you no need surprise if you happen to see pple eating fries or hashies with jam.. most likely come from my platoon..
