Malaysia : Lexis Port Dickson vs Golden Palm Tree Sepang

Lexus Port Dickson is ok....been there last year when it was Legends water homes....

Me and my wife had a very very big room enough for at least 4-5 people staying comfortably.

There are two queen sized beds, a kitchen, two toilet cubicles and a indoor pool.

Very relaxing and recuperating stay away from the busy Singapore lifestyle....

Only downside is there is nothing much to do over there (unless you like watersports) and we drove to a nearby Giant super store to do some shopping and car wash...

And also the indoor pool is a bad design because there is no sunlight to heat up the water so getting into the cold pool can be a challenge

I booked a Deluxe room but upon arrival they upgraded me to Executive room to my delight. Here are pics of my room and me in the indoor pool for size comparison :

I went to the golden palm tree sepang last year. I don't know was it due to me going when it just opened or the facilities are just as such. The service there was fine and the resort that i booked was quite big and had 3 rooms (One master, one study and one bedroom). If your room is a long stretch away from the lobby, you got to wait for their transport and it can take quite a while (15mins). There wasn't anywhere else to go except staying in your resort, which can be very boring as there is nothing to do at all! When i was there, there are a few seasports but the water was so brown that i decided not to do any seasports. There are only a few places to eat and their dishes in the menus are very limited. They have free shuttle bus to KL shopping centers though. Not much facilities that i can remember, only a small swimming pool and a small gym. And that's all the activities i did during my 4 days 3 night stay. I went with my whole family and we are all bored. If you are looking for a place to just relax and do nothing, good place. Very peaceful as the resort is quite isolated.

hi, I been to both resorts. Lexis is a more of family oriented resort especially if you have your kids

along. Chalet comes with indoor pool which will be enjoyable for the kids.

Golden Palm I feel more suitable for adult and is a stay in resort no need to go venture outside.

Their restaurants and cafes are nice and reasonable price.

I be going there for 2 nights with my family. I was thinking to fish there just by throwing in the fishing lines from my room balcony so do you think it is okay for me to do that?

@pictuer number 8, I saw Pahang Sultan floating in the indoor-swimming pool [laugh]

By the way, how much you paid for the room night ? Can share the resort hotel booking informations ?

Kindly advise.

Use those foldable Crab Traps is better, selling at Beach Road, I think you'll get lot's of "Flower Crabs" for lunch & dinner, simple to cook...just boil hot water and cook it...Fresh and Yummy [thumbsup]
