Runabout Neutral Newbie March 28, 2012 Share March 28, 2012 It is a relatively new housing estate situated next to the NS-Highway. There is really nothing for now except for a few fastfood/coffee joints and shop-houses. Good to grab a cup of coffee on your way up north.
Ericongy 3rd Gear January 4, 2013 Share January 4, 2013 i just book a condo unit at sky garden last month i went to their showroom in setia tropika to take a look when i visited one of my relatives who stay in that area. i am quite satisfy with the surrounding so i bring my friends along few days later to have a second opinion... end up we bought 3 units, 2 in sky garden n 1 in sky peak... but all are "bumi" lots as all their international lots already sold out.... its for investment purpose, i guess only time can tell if we are throwing money into the sea. we made the decision to purchase as we consider it affordable even if the units are left vacant (cannot rent out) and we can treat it as holiday home. Access is pretty convenient as well from the causeway. At least the building standards there follow Conquas so the quality is not so bad. However if you compare the prices of units just across the highway (Kempas), the setia price is generally 2times higher than KSL properties. Investments well, not so certain if can fetch high returns but definitely a good place to retire when the estate matures.

Looking to sell to foreigners if the right offer comes about and book another unit. most of the landed units come bare with tiling and toilet only. to offload probably you need to spend some money to renovate first. however ROI i feel may not be so quick. to do a simple renovation easily cost RM100k over for that size.
