If ppl can go to the extent of making the plates that are not legal knowing they will be fined, why can't the authorities do something to make sure that these ppl stop making the plates?

So. it's better to have your reg plates as per LTA requirements (Code of Traffic Rules) than spent monies for illegal mods !! You deserved it !! Blame yourself NOT LTA as they're performing their duties !!

Most probably someone reported it to the authorities and you parked there long enough for them to come.

Because some people just make the plates for fun? It is not illegal to buy these kind of plates but don't use it ma. So can't stop the workshops from doing that.
