do you agree?

do you think it is representative here in Asia or Singapore for that matter?

probably not, becos of our crazy prices. unlike in the UK where old porsches are easily within reach of normal average ppl. which might contribute to the accident rates.

due to our crazy car controlling system, even older porsches here are commanding crazy prices

Not really, its representative of the driver rather than the car. In SG, WRX is about the highest.

Certain makes/models of cars attract certain individuals, that's a fact. While you can pinpoint individuals, the trend of the majority should still hold.

It's not representation of SG lah.

The number of the same model on the road will affect the % of its accident rate.

Example, we have so many sonata taxi on the road, and very often we see sonata taxi accidents. So does this mean sonata cars are very unsafe, as compare to QQ cars in SG which is very few?

Porsche, Volvo, jaguars cars are v common in UK. They are not even consider as luxury cars. So result on high number of them running on the road every day. They are as common as Honda and toyota in SG.

Daewoo? Who the F drives a Daewoo in UK?

So when the accidents stats is generated, of coz we will see a high number of Porsche, Volvo, lexus gettng into accidents.

if expensive cars do have all the trapping of abc, traction control, skid control and etc, surely they must help to avoid accidents as compared to cherry or even picanto

sidetrack, hence does safety technology helps to reduce accident or increase complacency

Real sports cars don't nanny the driver too much. Porsche have always been about making real sports cars for dedicated drivers, at least when it comes to their flagship 911.

They can be very rewarding machines to drive, but if you make a mistake, it'll cost you.

GM bought them worldwide long time back. Brand name "Daewoo" does not exist anywhere in the world now!
