Traffic police bikers get new, improved uniform

 

Traffic Police officers who patrol on motorcycles will hit the roads and expressways with a new look on Friday.

 

Gone are the white tunics they usually wear over their dark blue riding breeches.

 

In their place are a specially designed jacket and new water-repellent trousers with anti-abrasion padding, to offer them more comfort and protection.

 

The new get-up is designed by the Traffic Police and Police Logistics Department, with help from Hong Kong designer Alan Chu, who has worked with American fashion designer Marc Jacobs.

TP at expressways might as well don't wear any clothes cause i haven't seen them in action for long time liao. The efficiency of their work can be seen from the rampant disregard for rules in the express way when drivers (van drivers i am looking you!) road hog and speeding.

Yeah man yesterday one rickety old pick up chiong the right most lane along KJE all the way and despite all his chionging he was still holding up traffic..felt like taking a video and sending it to out TPs :angry:

Look at the photo, guy with glasses, on the right side.

Those "designer lines" around the chest make the guy "smaller" visually. The broad shoulders of this guy is "distracted" by these "designer lines".
