Supercharged

You mean you need a contractor or just to buy lights? If it is just buying lights, there are very good shops in Balestier road. I bought the lights from there and handed over to renovation contractor to fix!

I think TS wants those profibus system where he can control the LED and lightings to create magic show and moods.

If I have a condo, I would also want a system where I can clap my hands to turn on my lightings.

Shiok to live in a high class home.

This place is quite good and affordable. Bought all my 3 ceiling fans and lighting from there.

Rule of thumb, must jaga the installers and check the items before and after installation.

they got their own contractor to do up for me?

Yes... they will arrange. But are mostly M'sia installers. 3-4 of them, chop chop very fast install in 2hrs...

Each lighting points the contractor will charge like $15 extra on site. Not costed in the lights price hor!

That's what my colleague told me last year when he moved in to his new condo.

Honestly whatever your pocket is comfortable with and of course the design + overall effect of the lighting fixtures.

Check installation costs with the lighting shops, it differs.

u gotta shop around. for budget price it's balestiar and geylang. for nice designer lights it's artemide. used to also buy from SPACE at millenia walk but they have been gone.

Used to be very keen in getting nice lights for my houses to the extent that we even bought a small crystal chandelier in HK (was some shop that sells a lot of kartell stuff along henessey road) and brought it all the way back to sg

bought my chandeliers and lights all from different shops. the biggest challenge was to find a nice chandelier to hang from the 2nd floor ceiling down to the first floor for my 3rd house. found it in geylang. there is a shop on 2 or 3rd floor of balestiar point. huge selection.

my new house under renovation now. got a couple of chandeliers as well. i just don't like the fan+light type. chandeliers are good if your house has high ceilings else it will look claustrophobic. else just stick to simple pendant types. don't forget chandeliers are a pain to clean/change bulbs.

most shops are one stop. they will provide the electrician.

happy shopping!
