Depends on how you read this news....

Singapore has the shortest repayment period for luxury homes.....or in another word....cheapest housing in Asian countries.

More upside potential? Go forth and keep buying...they had it worst in HK and JKT and BKK.

REJOICE for Affordability we are still ok.

Monitoring freehold landed property prices at Sembawang Hills Estate D20 past 6 mths. Govt measure seems like no effect.. Checking URA website prices have been going up. Using quick valuation tools at propertyguru.com.sg to monitor a particular properties from Oct 2011 to recently May 2012. Saw valuation goes up at least 5% in about 6 mths.

No wonder news paper and govt report kept silent on landed property prices.
