Turbocharged

+1.

But we all know how he is like as the word "retirement" never existed in his dictationary.

Not trying to be disrespectful but the day he stops will be the day he drops [lipsrsealed] [lipsrsealed]

Don't need to be so uptight...he already say before that he will work tilldeath and if got the strength, would jump out of the grave to steer back Singapore if something goes wrong.

This phrase in Chinese is an excellent description of him:

拿得起但放不下。

It means someone being able to shoulder the burden but incapable of letting go.

He has his legion of fans both domestic and foreign but also an equally large number of harsh critics on him and everything that he has done or have influence in..

Singaporeans will each be entitled to our own opinions on this man when the times comes.

正所谓一个名人的功与过往往只能在他百年之后再盖棺而论。

i thought leaders are chosen by democratic election?

how cum LKY seem to imply otherwise?

http://sgtalk.org/mybb/Forum-Market-Talk

so u saying LKY practices nepotism???

and that explains ah dragon holds the record for chao REC to BG(fatso kim not consider as he's not even a chao rec before)

now the dragon-son on overseas scholarship(half fxxk grades student from a don't know WHAT? JC here).still got scholarship at MIT wor.MIT WOR.he must be the first(& only)half fxxk student to enter MIT from that half fxxk JC.

LKY is an exceptional man and politician but can't say the same for his descendents.

now there's no more politicians in here.it had changed to poLICKcians.

everyday licking boots.

Any bros saw the TV footage of him talking about this?

Could not really hear him and you have to raise the TV volume.

And his manner was very stiff...

But for an almost 90 old man really [thumbsup][thumbsup]

Actually I think Aljunied GRC was lost because of his choice of words like repent...

If he still use those words for GE2016 for other weakly supported GRCs like East Coast GRC (probably due LSS presence), I think its will be gone too.

I believe he now repent outside the cabinet instead [shakehead]

My attention is brought to the following statement..

They're not paid very much to do that. It must be a bit of a sacrifice, because the people with the potential to be ministers can easily earn bigger figures outside in the public sector," he said.

I would like to ask, whether it has been proven that these people selected as minister, can they really earn that much outside? Or because most ministers retire and never had the chance to go into private sector, thus it has never been proven false?

Anyway, public service should never be about the money..

Was told one of them was about to be terminated at the end of the month for incompetency, before PAP recruited him for Minister. PAP soon left him out of the cabinet for his abuse of authority? [shakehead]
