Gendut 2nd Gear June 2, 2012 Share June 2, 2012 LKY has repeatedly reminded you not to sell your hdb flat. So don't cry if you ignore his warning when the cpf s--t hits the fan. I've been advising my colleagues since 2002 to clear out their cpf.

Genie47 1st Gear June 2, 2012 Share June 2, 2012 Kinda hard when the numbers used are from your own submissions to IMF and published by MOF. Kenneth J supplied his set of data too.

Alechi 2nd Gear June 2, 2012 Share June 2, 2012 Never let competitors know the depth of ur pockets, so they cannot estimate the extent of ur "exhaustion". In the quest for truth, make sure these ppl don't dig the country's graves ...

CKP 3rd Gear June 2, 2012 Share June 2, 2012 (edited) Never let competitors know the depth of ur pockets, so they cannot estimate the extent of ur "exhaustion". In the quest for truth, make sure these ppl don't dig the country's graves ... Not again. Another bogus but often used existential threat argument spotted, which attempts to stir up the human being most powerful emotion of fear. Gendut 2nd Gear June 2, 2012 Share June 2, 2012 Never let competitors know the depth of ur pockets, so they cannot estimate the extent of ur "exhaustion". In the quest for truth, make sure these ppl don't dig the country's graves ... Even wihout knowing how deep the pockets are, the Jinx will shoot us in the foot and lose billions. I dont see how our competitors can benefit from knowing our reserves. The only other reason to hide, is to do a con job, meaning, have a lot less than what is really there. Gendut 2nd Gear June 4, 2012 Share June 4, 2012 I don't understand that comment, can you explain, please. If you mean 'report a lot less than is really there', then although I don't agree that that is the thing to do what do other governments do. And isn't it a better situation that 'report a lot more than is really there'. Try to figure out how the markets will react in both instances of gross over and under reporting the real $$$ in the safes and you will understand the motivation. ↡ Advertisement
