Kyrios Turbocharged January 22, 2015 Share January 22, 2015 Dun understand why the fare hikes kick in in April but the offset measures only come into effect on July? Why a 3 month gap ah? I thought Lui had missed a good opportunity here to get the 2005 2006 drivers who are about to scrap their cars to switch to public transport..but now no matter how he tries to sugarcoat the fare hikes..people will be dulan and wanna drive.. ↡ Advertisement
Jayy25 6th Gear January 22, 2015 Share January 22, 2015 Nothing surprising... as usual, transport here can only go up ! Oil price high = increase in fares.. Oil price drop like mad = increase in fares... Damned it ! Left or right, black or white.. they will always win ! When the next review comes, and when oil prices increase, they will definitely say fare increase again ! well.... my best guess the new review comes.. it will certainly drop at least 1% to make it like a sweet for election.... Well this govt surely like to play tricks.... they are just one step short of blacking out the whole room to perform the magical appearance of ballot boxes

oleandero 5th Gear January 22, 2015 Share January 22, 2015 More updates on netizens' comment its definitely okay to voice ones' opinion but i find it distasteful if the opinions turned out to be personal attacks. rebut all you want but with words that makes sense or better still, with solutions. name calling is definitely not the way to go.

Mason016 Supersonic January 22, 2015 Share January 22, 2015 Why is everybody upset and/or surprised? This is normal and to be expected. The people who are complaining should read SGAG. Everytime the PTC meets, there's a meme telling us to brace for fare hikes. So you're right, it is normal and to be expected.
