What TP constitutes inconsiderate driving?

Just received a "request for driver's particulars" notice quoting "inconsiderate driving (non-acctd lv) under section 65b of road traffic act chap.276". Event took place 10 days back during evening peak hour at Nicoll highway slip road onto KPE. Cannot remember what happened (as I used this daily), nor seen any plain clothes or Cisco standing there noting down offending vehicles.

Just what does TP mean by inconsiderate driving in this instance?

did u cut Q and cut into KPE?

very common at this entrance to KPE. they dont have to be physically there. Camera is enough to take enforcement action.

Like many others said, most likely cut queue.

If you are a habitual queue cutter, please reflect on your action and consider changing your driving habit.

I'm not a queue cutter and i'm not endorsing the action of queue cutting.

But is queue cutting an offense?

Yes it is if done without due consideration or if cut across chicane or worse still double-white lines.

If there is a huge gap and you signal properly, then I think will be subjective (not tested yet).

Definitely an offence that's why you see the sign at the custom

But there is no such sign elsewhere so I think it is not an offence per se.

Those who do it in a inconsiderate manner will be charged under inconsiderate driving and not for queue cutting. If you miss the queue you should be able to filter in if there is ample space and you signal in advance.

Just my thinking.

queue cutting people usually will do last minute cutting and either

1. cut the chevron marking

2. cut double white line

or cause a knn jam behind because the car will stop just to cut the queue...

NNB!
