Police investigating after motorcyclist dies in accident

The police are investigating a traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a car along Boon Lay Way in the direction of Upper Jurong Road last Saturday morning.

 

The rider, 48-year-old Mohd Kassim Mohd Yusof, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

 

The driver involved, a 37-year-old man, has been arrested for causing death by a rash act.

 

Mr Kassim's family told The Straits Times on Monday that he was on the way back from his night shift when the accident took place. Mr Kassim, a divorcee with no children, worked as a cleaning supervisor.

Look at extreme right motorcyclist at 00:20 on the right side, you can see a car loose tyre flying over that exactly hit the poor motorcyclist suddenly.

The biker died instantly.
