Any user comments or those who had done a comparision before?

Which giives a better overall sound? Price of these 2 sets are similar.

personally prefer focal, but runnin on amp probably matters after all. diff shops diff setup diff tuning. wat i could hear fr hertz is vocal n acoustic not that clear.

it is better to install an amp.. then you can hear the differences better..

 

but overall using a flat EQ, i find focal being more warm..

i think common practice of adding amp to certain extent may not be a necessity for good sq. it has happened to me.

 

we need to take into account within enclosed car environment, we don't blast to deafening volume, not even loud at most times. at the very least, my current setup w/o amp is very decent, if not good, & can maintain sq at louder volume. open doors n up volume, carpark filled with music oso pleasant to the ears.

 

dont get me wrong, not tryin to show off, just noted current budget setup better than prev amp n sp setup.

Hertz tends to be a little bright and "in-your-face", certain female vocals and sibilance might become a little overbearing, but playing a bit with the equalizer will help. Overall I like the sound of Hertz's tweeters though, I am running Hertz ML tweeters.
