Which side have the right of way

I am getting confused by this.

 

To me,

Vehicle coming straight -> Waiting line -> Stop line

 

But, I only pass when it's safe to do so.

What says you?

Yup that is correct. Vehicles coming out from small roads have to give way to vehicles on major roads.

 

Btw, its in BTT and FTT books..... Hence, drivers ought to know this.

That's correct but always pays to be cautious... Many like to drive as they wish in Singapore and everyone else have to give way to them...
