Thanks and i appreciate your help. :) if you on Singtel plan, you can always top-up monthly $10 to opt for Dual SIM. Currently, I am using Dual SIM. One for iPhone, one for iPad. Same plan. Lastly, I am apple user, I will suggest iPad. Recommendation: try to use the same band for both smart phone and tablet. Data transfer is easier. Vid Hypersonic August 12, 2012 Share August 12, 2012 Wait for Google Nexus 7, I am. Got shops selling already. The 8GB nearly $400. Or you can get from the US at US$199 + shipping. Cheaper.

Maybe when it's launched in SG, will see if it's worth getting. Probably going to cost abt $300+. Still considered pretty cheap.

Still considered pretty cheap. Problem is the 16GB version is already pretty hard to get, let alone the 8GB version via official channels as of now. Bluroblur Neutral Newbie August 12, 2012 Share August 12, 2012 Sold my galaxy tab and bought a iPad instead. Tab is laggy at least to me, not as smooth as iPad. No doubt it can do lots of things as explained from an android user, but if u r just using it to surf net, watch YouTube/drama, playing games, get an iPad. Google will probably up the production to meet demand. Wonder when it'll be launch here or at all?

That's true. iPad has a better UI and smoother operation. In fact, iPad 2 would suffice for most user since the processor is the same as the new iPad unless you want the super clear retina display. C-K 2nd Gear August 12, 2012 Share August 12, 2012 (edited) I own both Galaxy Tab 10.1 (P7500) and iPad 2. Just like what others said, iPad has a much smoother operation and seldom lags. Not that I am an Apple fanboi like most people in Singapore, iPad really outperforms Galaxy Tab in almost every aspect (except not having the full control of your device). Now that iOS 5.1.1 can be jailbroken, I don't see any reasons why you should go for Galaxy tab. Edited August 12, 2012 by C-K ↡ Advertisement
