Better than jobless right?

He has been out of job for maybe over a year le.

Not Table Wiper previously.

This job is 24/7 one leh.  They have to act immediately upon receiving calls.

Ask your friend watch "Death is my Business", a local documentary with Mr Roland Tay, Direct Funeral Services before he decides.

Most of the people who have been jobless for one year are jobless by choice.

Not the easiest people to hire.

*Obviously not referring to those people who are taking off jobs here and there to get by while looking for a permanent job

OIC.  If he really takes up the job, I respect him.  This is a noble job.   But no point working there if he's not interest.

I think the pay is not really high.  If he's keen, he can consider being a driver temp while looking for a perm job.

I know there's a shortage of retail assistant, service staff in F&B and drivers in the market.

I wish your friend good luck and hope he can find his dream job soonest.

Yes he is temporarily driving Uber / Grab and has a bit more time with kids.

Hope he settles into something he is happy with soon.

Thanks very much.
