Price wise definitely hankook and kumho will be lower. I have the same shortlist earlier this yr when I changed my tyres. Went for e hankook eventually. 210 each for 17 inch. Compared to the ps3 which is going for 320 each my decision was made up fairly quickly.

Read on most online reviews that the hankook is quite competitive with the ps3.

Hi guys, can help give inputs on these 3 tyres? I am looking to change my tyres next week. 205 55 16.

Difference specs so depend what's your priority $ or performance?

Currently on kumho ku31 as per your abt so far wet & dry grip is good only noise level abit high but bearable. Heavy shower along NSHW with pool of water traveling at 110kph no issue but maybe depend on the ride bah..

Whereas the other 2 have yet to try.

ive used S1 Evo on 215/55/R16 and PS3 215/45/R17...

S1 evo-

positive:

good grip rain or shine

stiff tire wall

grippy at corners even at profile 45

neg:

noisy aft 20k

damn noisy aft 30k

overall:

quite impressed with the tire...

agent ps3- (made in thai)

positive:

noise level still ok aft 20k

rain or shine grip is good

negative:

side wall is soft (steering tends to pulls left and right when hard braking on uneven surface)

cornering not as gd ad s1evo

kumho no idea havent tried yet...

thats my experience with these sets of tires...

I heard Pilot Sports 3 quality varies very great. Diff country diff quality and also heard of inferior parallel import ones. S1 Evo apparently is the Hankook flagship tyre.. So I am really considering.. Threadwear, braking handling etc..

If you ever go for the KU31, make sure it's from Korea... I had a bad experience with Vietnamese KU31...

What up on Viet make compare with KimChi...mine make in Viet and already 10K plus so far so good
