Hup Heng Ang sell RM260 (~S$105)

Hawk Tyrar sell RM280 (~S$115)

*not sure if got hidden charge like balancing and fitting.

Anyone have first hand experience with this 2 shop mentioned?

i know JB very famous in this brand called "Road Stone" which is made in China.

but then again, why pay for the same price when you can get something better in local? [:p]

in this instance, the tyre there is cheaper for my size.

280rm (S$115~) vs S$135

and hawk tyre is giving free alignment..

but not sure if the stock are genuine, called and they say it comes with 6 yrs warranty like what sg's local distributer does.

dafansu, what oil do they use and how much they do yr servicing? curious [cool]

I frequently go to Hawk Tayar [southern City Branch], for changing 4 tires to XM1 and subsequently XM2, rotation and high-speed balancing.

My experience with the Southern City Branch is very good. They are patient and obliging.

Noticed that there was a difference in the pricing between XM2 in SGP and JB (Hawk tyres). With the exchange rates, it's slightly cheaper in JB.

Just a question, how do you tell from the XM2 tires if the tire were made in Thailand or fm Europe?

Thanks!

Do a search on XM2 in MCF, it seems like this tyre which is MIT are significantly cheaper in Msia. I went Dong Huat yesterday but forgot to ask the price [bigcry]

Will call and ask later for size 185/65/R15. Anyone using this size purchased it in SG for price comparison?
