Went to repair my rim kerb rash at Hurry's serene outlet. Im pleased with the repair and its really fast and cheap!

Need to make prior appointment? Mine got small scratches but I thought of fixing it all up for CNY, since one rim only $20. I think I got 3 damaged    Poor estimation when not yet used to the car dimensions.

Basically they just file away and spray.

What is the difference? Will filing it away affect the structure of the rim and make it prone to cracking in future?

It won't affect the structure.

 

Where there is rash it shall he file away and no putty used.

Haiz maybe I should just forget it and let my rims remain as it is! It's not very noticeable.

there are way to get rid of the rashes

1 is have it fill with filler and sand paper follow by respray

(this is little risk whenever any tire remove and mounting the fillet might drop out my itself)

another 1 method is sand it down and polish or light touchup

(this it may have some depression on affected part)

so you have to make your choice

last method is Free , leave it as it is

I would recoment hurry tire for repair scratch. I just get mine done good job repairing my very old magline 5 rim.

I'd advise to have your tire examined at a reputable workshop ASAP.

 

From the photo, I can't tell how bad the cut into the tire is.

the tires little peeling off is ok base on the picture

rim lip can be polish by expert but it cost you money
