The last time I was there, someone told me Canada has 3 subs - all inside a shopping centre. The ones is the water park where kids can play in! Did you watch the documentary Sinking A Destroyer which showed the combined Canadian & US naval forces trying to sink the ex-HMCS Huron some years back? Interesting to see all sorts of ammo including a Phalanx (they had to use manual control as the CIWS's targetting radar was unable to lock onto the ship at close range) being thrown at the ex-destroyer but the old gal still stood afloat. She finally sunk before a pair of Hornets arrived to finish her off...
