Brock 1st Gear September 24, 2012 Share September 24, 2012 Hello fellow drivers. My Aveo sedan is in it's 7th year. Lately I have been hearing this 'cricket-like', screeching sound. The sound comes from the drivers side because it is louder when I wind down the window as I drive. It doesn't seem to be caused by braking because it comes sometimes during acceleration, coasting, braking, or even going slight humps. The sound is noticeable at speeds of 50km/h and above. At idle or very slow speeds, the sound is not present. Again, I stress, the sound does not show up regularly but it will definitely show up after some time of driving (20 minutes or more). Any ideas? Thanks in advance. ↡ Advertisement
