Kenmical Clutched September 25, 2012 Share September 25, 2012 An oil change is an oil change. An oil filter change is just an oil filter change if it is regular servicing you are talking about. Just go to any places with alot of workshops to compare prices. Since you are near town, just go Alexandra Village there and ask around. Recommendation is very sensitive subject. Good or bad, somebody will have their own POV on them (even Borneo).

Yeobh 4th Gear September 25, 2012 Share September 25, 2012 (edited) For camry and lexus cars with paper filter elements, the plastic filter cartridges tend to seat in very tight overtime. So as not to damage the plastic filter cartridges most well info mechs will opt to use Toyota/OEM designed oil filter wrenches. Damaging the cartridge is an expensive affair so it's best to avoid at all costs. Using simple universal belt , chain wrenches or self locking pliers is a the fastest way for the mech to burnt yr pocket.
