Honeymoon trip- 1Week in Amsterdam

hi guys.

 

i'm going to europe for my honeymoon this december.

 

Going to finland sweden etc to see northen lights. all booked liaoz. no issue.

 

Was planning to spend an additional 3-6 days in amsterdam. any recommendations on what to see , what to do there?

Ah...Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Land of the Tulips!!!

 

Can visit their Diamond factory and buy her a Diamond ring there! :D

 

Then must visit their clog shoe factory also...very unique!

yup, very unique advise..... she can use it as a weapon on TS if she caught him come home late with lip-stick marks on shirt .... [:p][:p]

No river cruize... but if you are lucky, can do ice skating on the river/canal.

Amsterdam? Famous for space cakes. And of course. a trip to Amsterdam cannot be completed without seeing the red light district (esp with the famous window parades) :wub: :wub: :wub:

A visit to Anne Frank's home is a must.

 

Have some good Indonesian restaurants there. Do a research.

 

Where in Finland u heading? Helsinki?

they got a pass that lets you take all trains, trams, buses, plus a lot of muesums for one card. Get that the moment you get into town!

 

Amsterdam got a lot of muesums, anne frank muesum, handbag muesum, van gorgh muesum, heinneken musesum dont know what muesum, most can go in with the card, lots of things to see see touch touch.

 

there's a open market on weekend, plus thursday is late night shopping day. can walk walk at the red light district is very safe and touristy.

Must see

 

- Rijks museum

- Van Gogh museum

- Sex museum (not vulgar at all)

- coffee shops

- red light district

- must try the public toilet for man!!!!

- rent a bike and ride along the canals
