Steptronic Supercharged October 17, 2012 Share October 17, 2012 Jaywalking! Thank god both survived. Should teach maids / children and old folks to use pedestrain crossings and even in pedestrian crossings, how to look out for vehicles even there is a right of way! Toothiewabbit Supersonic October 17, 2012 Author Share October 17, 2012 Jaywalking! Thank god both survived. Should teach maids / children and old folks to use pedestrain crossings and even in pedestrian crossings, how to look out for vehicles even there is a right of way! Couple of times, saw maids crossing the neighbourhood roads with young children following a 2/3meters behind them. Felt like scolding them but think i will be a kapo for doing that. Nikelashi Neutral Newbie October 18, 2012 Share October 18, 2012 I live in that area and I have to say that there is no traffic lights or pedestrian crossing anywhere near. Judging from the location of the photo, it'd take at least 15-20min to walk to the traffic lights and back. Honestly, who in the right mind would do so... Traffic along the road is quite minimal, so I think it's probably unnecessary to have lights there. I guess both drivers and pedestrians just have to play their part and keep a proper look out. Perhaps people have to get their facts before concluding that it is the maid at fault since she is jaywalking, it could be the driver who was speeding. ↡ Advertisement
