Darryn Turbocharged November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 What car would you buy for your 18 year old that just got their license? Something wonderful and flashy? (eg: Bently) A good and solid Euro? (eg: Polo) A true B n B car? (Altis) A sports car? For me, I think I would buy them a beater - teach them to understand car better, will be better drivers and I wouldn't want green eyes to turn on my kids. ↡ Advertisement

IMO, its a beater. But not those very old > 10 years type. At least a decent probably 7-8 year old car...

The_Bear Turbocharged November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 A manual COE car > 10 years of his/ her choice. Maybe even a commercial vehicle. Then set a monthly budget and give him/ her the cash. If budget exceeds, no money to pay, he/ she loses the car. Too bad.
