Would need some help here.

Did any bros know how to transfer all data from iPhone to note 2?

Just bought a S3 & I just backup my S2 data to kies than restore back to S3 only.

But my wifey iPhone I better do it rite for her, if not sure die, but problem is I don't know how.

So pls helpppppppppp.

For contact, iCal.. Sync thru Gmail..

For photos use dropbox..

 

Music wise, can't.. even if your music is not from bought from iTunes store..

 

SMS, i'm not too sure too.. unless iPhone can install 3rd party SMS apps to backup to their server and then install the same app and download to the Note2..

Same situation here. I was unable to get my iphone contacts to sync to outlook. I did a backup in iphone. And loaded that backup using kies.

Contacts smses photos were in.

Bro u say backup iPhone to where?

Is it backup to iTunes?

If to iTunes than how to transfer to kies & if backup iPhone to kies than how is it done?

got gmail accounts? sync all contact and calendar to gmail lor.

Digitalife (ST) on 14Nov has an article on transiting from iphone to andriod and vice versa.

 

Everything can be done easily except for SMS and whatsapp.

Music thru itunes can be played to ur note. Just back up ur playlist thru itunes first. Download an app called Doubletwist. Then find the airsync apk file as honey comb onwards cannot connect as mtp in usb. Install the apk file.

 

Then sync your playlist wirelessly via wifi(both must be on the same wifi network). Like magic. If you have Xbox or PS3, you can even stream songs and videos in ur console from ur hp.

Maybe u can try "easy phone sync" app. It is free and specially designed for samsung android phone for transferring of data from Iphone.

 

I remember reading about this app from Digital Life.

 

U will need to download the app from google play onto your samsung and go to easy phone sync website to download a copy onto your PC.

 

That is all i know... Hope it helps...

easy....download the app from itune store, it's call MCBackup...free of charge, then follow through it and it will be all transfer to your Note2...why I know, cos I got both phone with me...was a bit apprehensive about it, but realise it only takes min to transfer all over...pcs of cake...walah, now I'm on Note2 and as well as Iphone4....

apologies for not being clear enough.

make a backup of iphone using itunes

disconnect it.

plug in note 2 and fire up Kies.

 

theres an option in Kies to restore from a backup. (iphone /blackberry / etc )

 

choose iphone and it will load that latest backup you made with itunes.

 

you can select what needs to be ported over, contacts, photos, SMSes

I was holding iPhone 4 before too.. I backup my iphone to iTunes then install easy phone sync on my pc, install easy phone sync on my note 2 then connect up both using USB then open the app on note 2 and pc together follow the instructions there easy.. Everything can be transferred except notes.. After that I email the notes to my gmail and do a copy & paste to my Note 2.. Lol.. Enjoy ur note 2 is a great phone better then iphone though in my opinion..
