Have anyone watched Jersey Boys?

I found it splendid, especially act II when "Can't take my eyes off you" was performed. Didn't expect much out of it and I was plesantly surprised after catching it last night.

For fans of Frankie Valli and The four Seasons, this documentary-style musical is really something that you should consider [thumbsup]

Check it out:

i watched it on the second day, i feel old listen to those songs [:(]

but still prefer mamma mia or fried rice paradize [laugh][laugh]

Haha, me too, felt kinda old that I can relate to the songs. But the part where "Can't take my eyes off you" was sang was pretty touching I felt. It was a megahit that almost didn't happen.

The mobsters were kinda funny and the part where Lorraine left Frankie was pretty relating to me (the work vs personal life quandry) and of course, when his daughter passed away, was pretty sad too [:/]

I may listen to old classics rock, but Franki Valli is too far back.

Not only the songs leh... the musical was a mixture of comicbook antics and a chronical brought to life, thought it was quite captivating. even Mama mia, Chorus Line, Lion King and Wicked doesn't come close I feel...

I actually know what you mean. Many years back I watched Buddy holly musical and also like it despite music is older than me.

the whole storyline was well executed but some part were quite rush, like trying to put 20 years in 2 hours. the friendship part was touching and the foul mouth all over the place, is this NC 16 show ?

Haha.. yeah yeah... Well I guess its a personal view, others might not agree.... Anyhow, it was a relaxing way to spend a Wed night with my gf, we both enjoyed it alot.

I thought Taj Express was good with all the colours and comical Indian dance, but this proved to be better... didn't have a chance to watch Buddy holly, its a pity [:/] , I heard it was one good jukebox musical too?

I like the foul mouth part... esp when Mary was being sarcastic to Frankie during courtship, kinda enjoyed that part.

Yup agree, the language might be too harsh for kids, then again, kids nowadays are exposed to much of these online.
