Can't help you on price, but I stop popping cholesterol pills.

I'm 52 and yes, they like to prescribe cholesterol pills.

Makes money for the clinics and hospitals.

Try X-plus jb, facing pelangi shopping ctr main entrance opp row of shops near to those exortic meat restaurants, they got all the new medicine, bring along the prescriptions, I bought my insulin supplies from them, very much cheeper. They even store the medicines in portable cold pack for me when they know I will be in jb for a while, very professional. Don't try guardian, they only sells vitamins and cosmetics. Cost me half the price I pay here, medicines are tax free or low tax in my add on the Exchange rate.

City square oso got one big shop but could cost abit more cos of the rental.

The insulin is for my pet doggie, was prescripte by vets that insulin is the same as human medicine, if I gotta buy from Singapore, I rather put her to sleep but since its half the price i can affort I will keep her as long as possible. Wat the vet prescribe were old medicine, the person sold me the newly repacked dosages by the same manufacturer.

Btw my pet is still alive and going after using the drugs for close to 5mthns.

Regardss to your dad.

Only possible place cheaper than polyclinic in SG wld be govt hospital for certain meds.

Go malaysia if u find the cost too high.

if cost is a concern and your dad still want to followup with polyclinic, maybe the irbesartan can be changed to a cheaper medicine.

Few yrs ago doctor told me that my cholesterol was reaching the roof. Given some drug to try to lower it but it caused constipation. Decide to go on a natural diet of polished rice, reduced my egg, crustacean and started to eat more veggies. It did the trick and brought my cholesterol level to normal range after 1.5 yrs. Now its back to square 1 cos its harder to keep to the diet cause its no fun.
