where is the pump made in?

sorry, don't mean to be skeptical as i had a bad experience with such pump. it caught fire in the middle of the night and burn my whole room.

No joke on that.

Hence, for pump wise, i prefer to be something durable and robust.

afterall, no one is at the home most of the time.

I think nows a day, most of the pumps are made in China :D even if you buy it from the shop, you will never know where the pump is made, as it is hiden inside the base.

true, but i prefer to buy from reputable seller. anything happen to the pump, can kick a fuss about it, thanks to Lemon law.

just curious, did anyone check with your fengshui master on the location of the water fountain?

You should aviod placing a table top fountain on a wood surface, as the water will spilt out. However, for DIY fountain, you have to get a pump that with a water flow control function, so the water will not spill out.

No for me, as I'm not into fengshui. DIY is my hobby, as I like to recycle things in my store room. The pump & the stone are from my previous fish tank & it is still working fine. This is my third DIY fountain, I just change the design every year.

I rear fish for many many years liao, pumps from tiny to huge like 8,000L/hr ones, none has caught fire before. Most of the pumps I buy is from China. Buy, use, spoil, throw, buy new one.

If u want reliable, consider getting Eheim, its german brand. My Eheim filter been working for a very very very long time liao.

Ur fountain got mosquito problem??? My fren have, so I taught him the easier way. Just add salt to the water. Mosquito larva cannot survive in salt water. [:p]
