A woman who was in a car accident in which one car overturned and two were badly damaged was charged in court on Tuesday. Xiao Shi Ying, 34, was driving along Commonwealth Avenue when the accident happened on Oct 3, 2010. On Tuesday, she was charged with using her car to crash into three vehicles and assaulting two people who were in one of the cars. Her husband, Mr Wong Hsien Loong, was one of those assaulted. According to records from the Registry of Marriages, the two were married in August 2004. Xiao had allegedly crashed her car into Mr Wong's car at the junction of Commonwealth Avenue West and Vista Exchange Green. She then reportedly scratched his face and body.
