SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 46-year-old man for attempting to enter the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) casino with another person's identity card. A 41-year-old woman was also arrested for abetting the offence.

 

On Aug 29, 2012, the man who was issued with an Exclusion Order was detained after he was found using another person

"If convicted, they face a fine of up to $10,000, or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years, or both.

 

For the offence of failure to pay the entry levy under Section 116(6) of the Casino Control Act, the 46-year-old man shall be liable upon conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000, and shall also be liable for the amount of the entry levy that was not paid."

 

sometimes i find Singapore law makes no sense... the cement truck driver which killed the 2 kids may get lesser sentence then this 2...
