Despite all the dire news about famine and all, the people in the video mostly look quite "normal" and healthy. Except like they just stepped out from a time machine...

 

I guess those people in the cities, as long as they toe the line and submit to the authority, they will have a decent job, enough pay for a decent lifestyle (since they have few luxuries anyway), and a normal life.

 

The nightmare only starts if they step out of line...

Itinerary:

 

DAY 01 : SINGAPORE – KUALA LUMPUR – PYONGYANG (D)

Assemble in the early morning at Changi International Airport for your flight to Pyongyang via Kuala Lumpur.

Transfer flight in Kuala Lumpur Airport in the early morning for your flight to Pyongyang. Upon arrival in Pyongyang, check in Yanggakdo International Hotel (5 star) or Koryo Hotel (5 Star).

 

DAY 02 : PYONGYANG (B/L/D)

After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Pyongyang city and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Some of the attractions, which you will visit, include Native Home in Mangyongdae, birth place of Kim II Sung, eternal President of DPR Korea. Four generations lived in this humble straw-thatched cottage which was often found in Korea before liberation. Proceed to visit Mansudae Fountain Park. Next visit Mansudae Grand Monument which was renovated in 2012 with two bronze statues of their late leaders Kim II Sung and Kim Jong II. Proceed to visit Monument to Party Founding, The Arch of Triumph & Tower of Juche Idea. Overnight at Yanggakdo International Hotel (5 Star) or Koryo Hotel (5 Star).

 

DAY 03 : PYONGYANG – WONSAN – MT. KUMGANG (B/L/D)

After breakfast, visit the Mausoleum of the King Tong Myong, the founder of Koguryo Dynasty in BC277. Continue long journey to city of Wonsan City by bus. Lunch at Wonsan, after lunch visit Songdowon International Children Union Camp.After which visit Chonsam Cooporative Farm and experience their living lifestyle. After which continue journey to Mt.Kumgang. Dinner at hotel. Overnight at Kumgansan Hotel (4 Stars).

 

DAY 04 : MT. KUMGANG (B/L/D)

Early in the morning, we shall proceed to the remarkable mountain, nicknamed 12,000 peaks, Mt. Kumgang. Mt Kumgang’s scenic zone changes with the four seasons. In spring, the mountain is surrounded by hundreds of blooming flowers, each spreading its unique scent. With this accompaniment, the mountain shines and shimmers with life. Therefore, acquiring the name Mt Kumgang (Diamond Moutains). In summer, clouds float past the steep hill; greenery spreads through the land and bird chirps up high, as though one is living in Fairyland. Thus, it is named as Mt Pongnae in this season. In autumn, maple leaves dress the mountain into a rosy Mt Pungak. In winter, branches bare the sharpness and the snow glows on the peak, forming a beautiful painting known as Mt Kaefol. However, Mt Kumgang is its more popular name. Walking through valleys up. Next proceed for your lunch. After lunch,visit Lagoon Samil. Overnight at: Kumgansan Hotel (4 Star).

 

DAY 05 : MT. KUMGANG – WONSAN – PYONGYANG (B/L/D)

Depart Mt. Kumgang to Pyongyang in the early morning. Lunch in Pyongyang and visit Pyongyang Metro, which is one of the main means of traffic in the city. It is a great edifice reminiscent of a palace for its architectural style, content, interior structure and ornament difference in each station. Visit to the Children’s Palace- the most comprehensive center for extracurricular activities for school children in Pyongyang. Sit back and enjoy a world-class children cultural performance or visit school children’s performances.

Overnight at Yanggakdo International Hotel (5 Star) or Koryo Hotel (5 Star).

 

DAY 06 : PYONGYANG – MT. MYOHYANG – PYONGYANG (B/L/D)

Proceed to Mt. Myohyang by coach. Mt Myohyang is one of the five famous mountains in Korea. See the beautiful valleys, steep and magnificent ridges. Next, proceed to visit to the unique International Friendship Exhibition. On display are tens of thousands of valuable gifts presented to Great Leader Kim Jong II. Thereafter, proceed to visit Pohyon Temple built in 1042. After lunch drive back to Pyongyang by coach. Upon arrival, visit the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum and the Monuments to the Victory.

Overnight at Yanggakdo International Hotel (5 Star) or Koryo Hotel (5 Star).

 

DAY 07 : PYONGYANG – KAESONG – PANMUNJOM – PYONGYANG – KUALA LUMPUR – SINGAPORE (B/L/D)

Today, we’ll drive to Kaesong City, which is only 8 km to the military demarcation line - Panmunjom. Some of the interesting sights in Panmunjom include the Signing Hall of Armistice Agreement and the Conference Hall of the Military Armistice Commission. After lunch proceed to Koryo History Museum. Next we’ll be visit Mausoleum of King Wanggwon, founder of Koryo Dynasty in Kaesong City before saying goodbye to Kaesong and return Pyongyang. Upon arrival in Pyongyang visit to US Spy Ship “Pueblo”. After Dinner, transfer to airport for your return flight to Singapore via Kuala Lumpur Airport.

 

DAY 08 : KUALA LUMPUR – SINGAPORE

KUL-SIN MH611 0925-1020

Transfer flight in Kuala Lumpur Airport in the early morning for your return flight to Singapore. Arrive in Singapore on Day 8 morning with fond memories of North Korea.

They really got a lot of guts man! If some random stranger offers to drive me and my crew to the middle of nowhere and brings a shotgun on board, I think I'll die of anxiousness! They still can so chill laughing about it.

 

Drunk Russian dude in train keep harassing them is confirm, looking for trouble loh. Every time not successful in starting a fight he come back and try again....
