Nicholas 5th Gear February 21, 2013 Author Share February 21, 2013 Won't la, Sony are good are hardware engineering. You see PS3's first gen heatsink and fan so huge. http://i750.photobucket.com/albums/xx143/S...PS3HSandFan.jpg
Happily1986 5th Gear February 21, 2013 Share February 21, 2013 my friend on bulldozer kpkb read AMD's roadmap before you bitch about Jaguar priest. 1. Bulldozer belongs to 2012 lineup, Jaguar belongs to 2013 lineup. Compare different generations isn't fair. How about i compare Intel Core 2 Quad Kentsfield with Intel Sandy Bridge Core i5 or i7? 2. Bulldozer is destined for the desktop range while Jaguar is destined for mobile computing solutions. All things equal, TDP of desktop CPUs will ALWAYS be greater than the TDP of notebook CPUs. As AMD's nomenclature suggests, codenames relating to felines i.e. (Bobcat in 2011) and (Jaguar in 2013) refer to cores meant for ultraportables, notebooks and netbooks. 2012 is missing because AMD killed off Bobcat 2.0. Desktop CPU cores are codenamed using construction equipment. First it was Bulldozer, then Piledriver then supposedly it is going to be Steamroller (which is rumoured to get canned) ↡ Advertisement
