i think it is not spoiled? check your remote's user manual, i reckon you can switch the sound ON/OFF.

btw, why do you want the sound? i purposely make it to silent. :D

Just check the siren whether it is working, if yes just throw your old alarm and buy new one. Think can get around 100+

how to toggle the sound ON/OFF

i don't know how your remote works.

different systems should have different set-up.

best is to check the user manual or google your system model?

my one no sound coz i purposely cut off the wire.don't like the sound.

and to answer your query,if your one is original remote (silicone brand),no sound means got problem because this one go option to toggle alarm sound one unless you press the silent button.

you can just go to the following shop that deals with Silicone product in Singapore.Lian Siong Corp Pte LtdBlk 633, #01-120Veerasamy Road/Upper Weld RoadSingapore 200633

Telphone: (65) 6296 4550

if need to change i remember is just $90..

My Honda City aftermarket alarm will have no lock/unlock sound if it rains heavily.

Once it dries out a few days later, the sound will return.

Maybe TS can wait a few days and see how.

My altis remote (silicone) also spoilt and no more sound after 8 years of using it. Now can press any of the 3 buttons to lock or unlock and there is no sound

You may just need to check whether the wire to siren is loose.

my altis got same issue. Just a loose wire. Open the bonnet, Fix by myself.

Can share where exactly is the wire located and what to do?
