Where to top up Touch & Go card in Singapore?

When I last topped up my Touch n Go card in June, they handed me a receipt, and on it was printed the expiry date of the card: 29/09/2011.

 

I have value of MYR140 and I wonder what's the most convenient way to transfer the value to a new T&G card. Can I get this done in Singapore?

Just have to use it once when u go in can liao

 

If I rem correctly, it will only expire if there is 1 yr of no usage

there is a T&G service counter after custom...........along the shophse after the shell carwash............they can do it for you..........never heard of it can be done it SG so far............ [laugh]

If that is the case, I'll be fine, since I used the card after topping up in June.

there is a T&G service counter after custom...........along the shophse after the shell carwash............they can do it for you..........never heard of it can be done it SG so far............ [laugh]

 

So it's the T&G service counter, which means the leftmost top-up counter at the customs? That will work for me.

Actually I use it more than once a year, so I'm surprise to see the expiry date printed at the bottom of the receipt. I suppose if it's going to expire like our cash card (after 5 yrs), then I'll just have get the transfer done at the top up counter.

yes there is an expiry date..........new card is 10 years...........if yours more than five years..........chances is the older card..........better to get it transfer over to a new card asap........... :D

If the Touch n Go card expired, can i get the balance amount back?

yes there is an expiry date..........new card is 10 years...........if yours more than five years..........chances is the older card..........better to get it transfer over to a new card asap........... :D

 

10 yrs sounds about right. 5 yrs (like our cash card) is just another means of generating revenue for themselves without providing corresponding value to the user.

That's at woodlands checkpoint, I suppose? Most times I go by Tuas. If there a similar office there that allows for value transfer?

if you go by tuas..........there is 1 T&G office after the 2rd toll..............on the left hand side............if you miss that one...............the next one is at the skudai toll........if I remember correctly......... :D
