Hi,

I just came back from Bangkok.  The weather is very hot.  The toilet is very clean and everyone is so polite.

Just be careful of the conmen.

They are extra polite and helpful.

then we had a short conversation, start to share about this temple in a particular mountain that only open once a year.

super lucky occasion etc..

ask me if I am keen etc..

best is to act poor..

it works everytime..

Thailand and some say Malaysia and Singapore..

Same story.

Once a year, promotion last week, in fact, last day today.

Buy and sell back in Sg, you make tons of money.

The more you buy, the more you make. [laugh]

But of cuz, you have just bought a lot of useless stones with no value.

Hi BFF you are a good person that's why you always have good opportunity

to go to holy temple that only open once a year.

I have done many bad things in my life so never once has anyone offered me

the lucky temple visit, or the lucky stone or even the lucky Buddha that can stop

a bullet. Now I know I have led a bad life and deserve to be poor and never have

a lucky break like my fren Jibby.

Nigerian Prince Offers To Bailout 1MDB

PUTRAJAYA:  Today Finance Ministry officials were pleased to announce that the debt laden 1MDB wealth fund won’t be requiring anymore standby credit, ‘hairdresser’ inflows, political machinery payments or bailouts.

“We received an opportune letter from someone representing Nigerian Prince Sir Goodbye Goodluck,” said a Finance Ministry Spokesman, “His Highness is burdened with an unwanted 5 billion US dollars which he wanted to send Malaysia as a ‘thank you’  for accepting so many hardworking Nigerian students into our universities!

“The letter writer corresponding on behalf of the Prince, a Dr Trustworthy Fineface requested the personal banking details of every Minister in Cabinet plus US$500k to facilitate the USD 5Bil wire transfer, “said a Treasury Official, “We faxed all the details to Lagos this morning and the funds should come through to us any minute!”

“It’s such a relief to see a way out of this 1MDB mess” said Third Finance Minister Dato Ibrahim Bakar heading up the Nigerian 1MDB rescue task force.

“Coincidentally, the same day I replied to the Prince’s email, my inbox was suddenly flooded by requests from gorgeous single women looking for companionship!  This must be my lucky week!”

Usually when a person who speaks relatively decent English approaches you on the street first and strikes up conversation with you, it is advised to be wary as they usually have the intention to 'invite' you to some overpriced, poor quality jewelry shop, restaurant, tailor or massage parlour.

There are really better places to spend your money. Best is to research beforehand and ask around your friends who go to BKK frequently. Otherwise, best to blend in like a local - Not very difficult for most of us.

In BKK Chinatown, really enjoyed the Teochew-Thai food at this place call Tang Jai Yoo. Nice braised shark's fin, tang hoon with crab and the authentic Teochew caramelized yam dessert [thumbsup]. During the honey mango season (June?), plenty of mango glutinous rice desert too!
