I think the scheme is already daytime parking. Funny how they suddenly mention the P&R abuse, seems like it's been going on for ages.

Not sure about the abuse for ezlink card but I use park n ride when I have meeting at novena or kallang by parking at tpy or geylang. Adhoc usage is good at least for me. Pls don't scrape it ! Else I must park at venue and claim from company gao gao.

What's a good park and ride location for someone living in woodlands and working in CBD?

 

I live quite far from the mrt (takes 15-20 minutes to get there) and always no seats. Worst still, SMRT has hired professional mourners/yellers. GET IN GET IN. PLEASE MOVE IN. PLEASE SIR PLEASE.

IMO, what kills P&R is the low real users -- people who park, then ride.

 

There are only 2,000 P&R season holders, and only half of them take MRT after that.

 

Maybe they don't have this data in the past, and now they do.

They just want to collect more money since carpark rates are going up in Dec.

I used to park & ride before taking the bus to CBD.

Most of time, I could not get the season PnR at the carpark at Telok Blangah.

Definitely not under-utilised as the demand is more than supply.

 

 

 

Of course. Since when have our govt been so generous. All the silver support cost money. Now is the time to get it back.

No data? Then our LTA fail big time. Anyway never thought much of the goons at LTA. Have never done anything right. The most jiak Liao bee stat board. Perpetually screwing up. For sure more screw ups to come. Edited by Mkl22

ERP Transponder 7 years never power up, sure got something broken one.  Need another 6 months to start lor ?

 

New diesel vehicle still OK, more are already Euro 6 engine.

 

 

Game over liao... it was a matter of time.

Next up, ERP at KPE to be switched on... followed by the diesel tax...

SINGAPORE - The Park & Ride Scheme will be discontinued from Dec 1, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said on Friday (Oct 14).

Dec 1 season parking and coupon parking increase, and also P&R scheme discontinued! Looks like they are taking away cheap parking everywhere! Even free parking on sun & PH also getting lesser and lesser.

Medical fees and / or insurance for private hospital also going up 9 to 15%.

 

Anything that can be remotely classified as luxurious, gotta Pay and Pay.

 

Buy, pay. Sell, pay. Use, pay.

 

There is no save, only pay. Unless stick to the basic of basic.
