It may worsen, don't pray pray. Neck already stiff and pain and you try to stretch further?

I suggest use some hong yew (medicated oil), rub rub rub, let the nerves relak relak first, then do some neck exercise.

If posture prob can try one thng in guardian, its like u lying down on mat then put this thing in ur neck, can be adjustable. For first time use first level until u get used to it.

The item can be found in guardian, its like a theraphy to adjust ur posture

Sometimes it can be due to heatiness. Cook or buy some ling yang and drink, caution, can only be drank when it's cooled to at least room temperature and not drink while it's hot. Can buy ready prepared bottle(5 bucks) at Chinese medicine shops if you dunno how to prepare.

I get this kinda of pain sometimes. Correcting posture helps but heatiness can cause the pain to come back. Quick remedy is take a shower, rest 10mins dan apply deep heat on the painful area. Also rearrange your pillow, pick it up and whack whack a little.

In many cases, headaches coming off neck aches are the result of muscle spasm at shoulder and neck regions. This can be from lack of sleep, incorrect sleeping, working etc postures over a certain period of time resulting eventually with RSI (repetitive stress injury) or simply triggered by stressing/depressing problems.

In any case, would suggest a visit to the GP, let him know and perhaps request a prescription for Simplex or the likes of simplex to relax the muscles. Once the muscles are relaxed, the headaches should go away. Should feel better anything between 2-4 hrs.

Unfortunately once those set of muscles experience spasm, there is likely chance of the same from time to time depending on body and/or mind conditions.

Unless its something more complex (which I hope not for your sake) this should do the trick.

Cut smartphone/tablet time

Go for shoulder massage

Get a hot water bottle, fill with warm water and sleep on it.
