Looking at the sales of volkswagen over the weekend, more than 100 units of were sold (SE said about 80 units on Sat and around the same on Sunday). Promotion was for Jetta and Passat 1.8. And Passat 1.8 selling lower than Passat 1.4! So my guess is that Cat A will end up the same or higher.

It'll go down but needs some time to clear backlogs.. But the number of bids is also lesser than past 900+ bids compared recent 500+ if not mistaken?

And for those who booked a car with other distributors and have not secured their COE, and now left with final 2 bids, VW also pitching buyers to book a car with them. If COE secured with the other distributor, VW will refund deposit.

My guess is Cat A this time will be $63K to $65K.

COE aint never goin down. .............. [bigcry]

It will not move much from here. Now we have many middle class that are financially strong and can fork out 40% easily. [cool]

All the 100% loan car cleared. Only left the rich with 50% down payment fighting it out. Which means the sky is the limit for COE!

Sigh, still waiting for my car

Any other AD also offering this plan? I should say, it benefits buyers as well as ADs. Quite creative.

Will the coe go down below 50 k before August or October I would like to change car Before this year

Might be possible in Aug as the quota will increase by 100+ per bidding base on current deregistration statistics. However don't pin high hopes as Singapore have a lot of cash rich people. :D
