So much for media freedom. And in terms of that the tiny island is ranked slightly better dan North Korea. LoL...

How disappointing.

a hong lim park protest doesn't work. why not just get EVERYONE to apply for a licence.

EVERYONE should apply because we scared we get 50,000 views on something.

see how MDA process EVERYONE's application.

Good read on ang moh's thoughts on this issue..

I especially like this fella by the name of Jan.. he compares this latest move to the old East Germany..

Personally, I think it is shocking that the Singapore government can try something like this - it is one thing to try to block certain websites, but to try to control what people write about the government? They couldn't even do that back in East Germany - people still somehow manage to find a way to organize themselves, express their dissent and that led to activities which brought down the Berlin Wall! This was East Germany way back in 1989 and people still found a way.

I wonder what made MDA think they can control the internet like how they control the MSMs?

you must be a robot of the highest order. PAP would love for every citizen to be like you, meek like a sheep. in fact, you would fit right into north korea and the former east germany.

in other countries like US, HK and even Malaysia and most other first world countries, this move would have led to protests on the streets. our way of responding is already very meek in comparison.

you have taken it to another low.

if they are allowed to do this, the measures they take will soon be more and more extreme. and it's people like you who is to blame for letting them run the roost over you.

Our actions mean nothing to them. You go Hong Lim Park, juz a show for them.

Don't waste time, gather our strength, only show it when it reali hurts them.

We disagree with White papers, motion passed.

We unhappy with COE, they clamped down on loans.

We say Public Transport sucks, they paid millions to buy buses for "them" and insist privatization is better than nationalization, just need to manage better...

Well... My view dun waste time, wait till 2016.
